Andrey Malef is a Russian Artist currently living and working in the UK.

He has experience in all media, from oil on canvas to watercolour on handmade paper, pastel, and acrylic.  He has an interest in painting portraits, figurative art, landscapes, and historical events. In oil painting, he studied an old masters technique and created high-quality copies of Russian masters.

Andrey studied at the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Arts and Industry.

He is best known for his three-dimensional works, called constructions or reliefs; he has folding printed works to create sculptural pieces. Most of his works are a unique movement within realist art.

Andrey’s vision of life is based on Art promoting happiness and joy for everyone. As a painter and a humanist, Andrey truly believed in the civilizing mission of Art, Culture, and Education.
